"Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto” now open in Shanghai

Having premiered in Paris in 2020 and travelled to Melbourne, Tokyo and London, the exhibition "Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto” is now open in Shanghai. Based on the exhibition created by the Palais Galliera, Fashion Museum of Paris, Paris Musées, it shines a light on the creations of Gabrielle Chanel, drawing the portrait of an avant-garde couturière who changed fashion forever.

On the occasion of the opening, Bruno Pavlovsky, President of CHANEL's Fashion, was joined by Miren Arzalluz, Director of the Palais Galliera and curator of the exhibition, Gong Yan, Director of the Power Station of Art in Shanghai, Renaud Bailly, President of North Asia Region at CHANEL, Dr. Jumping He, art director of hesign and graphic designer of the exhibition, and Liz Diller, founding partner of Diller Scofidio + Renfro and designer of the exhibition.

The exhibition, which will run from July 12th to November 24th 2024, is presented by the Power Station of Art and co-organized with the Palais Galliera, Fashion Museum of Paris, Paris Musées, and with the exclusive support of CHANEL.
