A. Lange & Söhne celebrates the Chinese New Year with the LANGE 1 in 18K yellow gold, embodying the spirit of the auspicious dragon which symbolizes prosperity and the radiant allure of gold.

Incidentally, the Lange 1 is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, having launched on 24 October 1994. Echoing the manufacture's motto of "Never stand still," the Lange 1 continues to undergo refinements to date.

With its unique dial configuration and outsize date, the LANGE 1 inspired the entire watch industry with fresh impetus. Crafted with an 18K yellow gold case paired with a solid silver champagne-coloured dial, its precision instantaneous switching of the jumping outsize date occurs at midnight.

In addition, the escapement within the timepiece has a balance wheel with eccentric poising weights and an in-house balance spring positioned beneath the balance cock engraved by hand, beating at a frequency of 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour. The dependable twin mainspring barrel is reserved in the timepiece, providing a power reserve of up to 72 hours.
