By SENATUS Magazine | 21 August 2023

CHANEL has launched a new Coco Crush jewellery campaign in time for Qixi, the Chinese festival of love, which takes place on 22 August. The campaign was shot by photographer Tim Elkaïm.

The Chinese celebrate what is the equivalent of Valentine’s Day, Qixi, derived from the tale of lovers Zhinü and Niulang, a weaver and a cowherd, respectively, from Chinese mythology. Each year it falls on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month.

The visuals feature supermodel Liu Wen and singer and actor Jing Boran, presenting different variations of the jewellery collection.
