Mercedes-Benz unveiled its S-class coupe at the 65th Frankfurt Auto Show, sett to replace the 7-year-old CL, the muscular-looking two-door teases the production model, planned to be rolled out at the Detroit auto show in January. U.S. sales are scheduled for the second quarter.
The German automaker described the concept as "an outlook on the new top-of-the-line model." The concept coupe is lower and wider than the production S-Class sedan and rides on a shorter wheelbase of 116 inches.
The production coupe will also have all the features of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class flagship sedan, including semi-autonomous driving technologies, such as the Driver Assistance package.
