Shadow and light collide in the newest collaboration between Hublot and Yohji Yamamoto #LVMHWatchWeek2026

Luxury is not what shines, but what endures. This philosophy guides the latest union between Hublot and legendary designer Yohji Yamamoto. Marking their fourth collaboration since 2020, the duo has released the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo. This timepiece is a limited edition of only 300 pieces, where every texture and contrast serves an intentional purpose.

The watch features a 42mm case sculpted from matte black ceramic. This material choice creates a play between light and depth, absorbing the sun while sculpting shadow. The dial is a study in movement, featuring a monochrome black-on-black camouflage pattern that shifts subtly as the wearer moves.

Both creators have built their reputations on questioning the meaning of luxury through deconstruction. Hublot first broke Swiss tradition in 1980 by blending gold with rubber. Similarly, since his Paris debut in 1981, Yamamoto has used black as a response against excess and traditional fashion norms. For these visionaries, black is not an absence of color but the very essence of form.

Technical precision meets tactile couture in the construction of the strap, which is crafted from a seamless fusion of fabric and rubber. On the reverse side, a smoked sapphire caseback offers a glimpse of the MHUB1110 automatic movement and its skeletonized rotor. This transparency allows the inner mechanics to be seen while maintaining the watch’s monochrome mystery.

This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of Hublot pioneering the All Black concept, where volume and texture define the watch more than the color itself. Yamamoto once affirmed that black is both modest and arrogant at the same time. That duality is captured here, packaged in 300 custom All Black boxes that bear the designer's signature.

The Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo is available through selected points of sale and online. It represents a vision of stripping an object down to its absolute essence. By treating black as a living material, the collaboration proves that a silhouette can speak louder than decoration.
