Bvlgari has launched a new project to rediscover and reinvent its most beautiful historical designs. This journey begins with the Vimini line, which is a modern take on a bracelet first designed in 1942. This historical piece was created during the material shortages of World War II, proving that true creativity can overcome any obstacle.

The design is inspired by the simple, rhythmic patterns of Italian Rationalism. The name Vimini comes from the Italian word for wicker, a nod to the ancient Roman and Greek art of weaving baskets from straw. Bvlgari artisans have used their gold-shaping skills to turn this humble, everyday inspiration into high-end jewelry.

This new collection includes five main jewelry pieces: a necklace, bracelet, ring, and two types of earrings. Each one is crafted in warm yellow or rose gold, which is a signature of the brand’s identity. The bracelet is designed to wrap around the wrist like a golden wave, using invisible links to make the gold feel fluid and comfortable against the skin.

The collection also features rare High Jewelry masterpieces that use a high-tech material called Diamond-Like Carbon. This velvety black coating creates a bold contrast against radiant gold and sparkling diamonds. These unique designs range from dramatic chokers to innovative poncho-style necklaces.

Every piece in this collection is marked with a special archival seal, the letters BE. This seal represents the brand’s commitment to honoring its past while looking toward a contemporary future.
