Gucci Opens Flagship on Bond Street in London, UK
By SENATUS Editor | 29 November 2011

Gucci, which is now owned by French parent company PPR, has opened its second flagship store in London, on the capital's most exclusive shopping road, Bond Street. The 685 square meter shop, which folllows a new design concept by Creative Director Frida Giannini, signals a contemporary change of direction in how the luxury brand dresses its stores.

Signature Gucci materials rosewood and marble are enhanced with the introduction of new elements including ribbed glass, warm polished gold, smoked mirrors and smoked bronze glass. The 21st century look aims to recall the elegance and richness of the Art Deco era.
