Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin 37 mm by Audemars Piguet
By SENATUS Editor | 15 September 2022

Audemars Piguet has launched the new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin in 37 mm as known as RD#3.

After 5 years of research and development, the engineers and watchmakers at Audemars Piguet have succeeded in adapting the flying tourbillon to the exact dimensions of the original extra-thin 39 mm Jumbo case. They also managed to fit the same calibre in a 37 mm case. The result is the brand's latest innovation: the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin 37 mm.

At the heart, Calibre 2968, an innovative ultra-thin selfwinding flying tourbillon movement, 3.4 mm thick, a complication previously reserved for our 41 mm diameter timepieces.

Enriched with an unprecedented plum dial, the new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin 37 mm interweaves technical complexity with aesthetic details for extreme refinement.
