'China: Through the Looking Glass' Breaks The Met's Attendance Records
By SENATUS Travel | 23 August 2015

Over the weekend, The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute saw a record breaking attendance for its 'China: Through the Looking Glass' exhibit, besting the numbers held by the 2011 exhibition 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.'

As of Sunday afternoon, the exhibition had attracted 671,234 visitors, making it the Met's most attended exhibition ever. With three weeks to go until its Labor Day closing, the attraction is likely to stretch the distance between it and the McQueen show, which ranks 8th highest of all time with 661,509 visitors. Find out more about the exhibit here.
