Grand Couturier Stéphane Rolland who showcased his exquisite haute couture creations in Singapore for the inaugural Women's Fashion Week co-organized by SENATUS, has just announced the opening of his first STEPHANE ROLLAND boutique in the prestigious AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS in Abu Dhabi. The opening of the boutique also sees the highly-anticipated debut of the eponymous label's Prêt-à-Porter collection, including 10 non-seasonal capsule ready-to-wear pieces as well as shoes, bags and limited edition jewellery and accessories.
The 1970's-inspired steel, precious wood and marble-accented boutique was designed by French architect Thierry Lemaire, whose aesthetic was very much in line with Stephane’s -- an apartment-theme that is both luxurious in detail, as well as warm and inviting.
Rolland explained, “I was very particular about how I wanted the boutique to look."
"It had to be modern, clean and minimalist – which is the core of my aesthetic – but also cosy and feminine.”
Abu Dhabi was a natural choice for Rolland for this first boutique, with a strong clientele in the Middle East, which includes the royals and dignitaries in the region,.
STEPHANE ROLLAND plans to open more boutiques around the world, beginning with the world’s fashion capitals: Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai.
