This year, as Ahmed Seddiqi celebrates its monumental 75th anniversary as the region's leading luxury watch and jewelry retailer, it partners with independent Swiss Maison Ulysse Nardin to redefine high-performance luxury. They are unveiling a special limited edition of the headline-making Diver [AIR]—the world's lightest mechanical dive watch.
The Diver [AIR] Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition is a rare piece of horological alchemy, merging a skeletonized high-horology aesthetic with the rigorous standards of a professional sport watch. Limited to just 30 pieces, this model is instantly recognizable by the signature vibrant blue details that reflect Ahmed Seddiqi's contemporary identity and heritage. This distinctive shade of blue illuminates the Super-LumiNova on the minimal skeleton dial, the second hand, the indices on the CarbonFoil bezel, the crown protectors, and the elastic strap.
An innovation lab on the wrist, the timepiece achieves its record-breaking lightness (just 52 grams including the strap) through a masterful use of advanced materials. The 44 mm case features a middle section crafted from 90% recycled titanium, while the side parts are made from Nylo-Foil (a blend of recycled fishing nets and upcycled carbon fibers).
Inside, the Manufacture calibre UN-374 is built with an oversized silicon balance wheel and an upcycled silicon escapement. This powerful, lightweight engine boasts a remarkable 90-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 200 meters, the Diver [AIR] Seddiqi edition is where high technology transforms into sublime lightness, offering a seamless bridge between extreme performance and refined elegance.
