Patek Philippe unites utility and style with the first Calatrava Pilot Chronograph

3 December 2025

Patek Philippe is charting a new course in aviation history with the launch of the first chronograph model in its Calatrava Pilot style line. Released in 2023, this timepiece features an original and highly recognizable aesthetic that is available in two distinct white gold versions. The first offers a cool sophistication with a sunburst blue-gray dial paired with a grained navy blue calfskin strap while the second iteration presents a lacquered khaki green dial matched with an olive green calfskin strap featuring a vintage finish.

Beneath the pilot-style exterior lies the self-winding CH 28-520 C FUS caliber which combines three practical complications into one user-friendly package. The movement boasts a flyback chronograph alongside a travel time function to track dual time zones. A date indicated by hand in a subdial at 12 o’clock is coupled with local time to ensure that functionality remains at the forefront of this stylish design.
