Hublot unveils a sophisticated new mineral palette with the Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang Coal Blue #LVMHWatchWeek2026
By SENATUS Magazine | 21 January 2026

Hublot has introduced a powerful new aesthetic to its legendary Big Bang family, debuting a color range designed for those who seek elegance and distinction. The collection features four models dressed in coal blue, a shade developed specifically for these references to radiate a mysterious and subtle minerality. This exclusive saturated blue contains stormy undertones that borrow from gray, black, and blue to reveal natural reflections when struck by light.

The 43 mm Big Bang Original Unico and the 42 mm Spirit of Big Bang lead the series with solid dials featuring a geometric pattern inspired by carbon fiber. This intricate weave creates a color chart of alternating satin-finished and polished squares with a reworked three dimensional effect for added depth. Both timepieces share the signature Hublot DNA, including titanium cases, the one-click interchangeable strap system, and bezels featuring six distinctive H-shaped screws.

Technical mastery remains at the forefront of the collection as the Big Bang Original Unico is powered by the Unico manufacture chronograph flyback caliber with a three day power reserve. Meanwhile, the Spirit of Big Bang utilizes the high-frequency HUB4700 movement. For those who prefer a touch of brilliance, Hublot also offers two models set with diamonds that capture the mineral character of coal blue through the purity of stone.

The bezels of the 33 mm Big Bang and the 32 mm Spirit of Big Bang are adorned with 36 and 44 diamonds respectively, all certified to the highest ethical standards. These precious additions accentuate the subtle variations of the sunray finished dials, which reveal an ever-changing palette of blue and gray. Crafted in stainless steel, these models offer a modern cameo effect that blends naturally with the coal blue rubber straps.

Julien Tornare, the CEO of Hublot, noted that the manufacturer chose to exploit the complementarity of its two most iconic watch designs to offer a unique perspective on this bold new color.

From the sporty dynamism of the titanium chronographs to the timeless elegance of the diamond set pieces, the collection remains a testament to the Hublot philosophy of the art of fusion.
