Burberry Re-Launches 20 Original Waterproof Coats for Dover Street Market

22 March 2016

By Natalie White

To celebrate the relocation of Dover Street Market to London's Haymarket, in a building formerly occupied by Burberry for nearly 100 years, Burberry is bringing back 20 original waterproof coats, which will be shown off in a custom-built installation.

The space set up within the retail and concept store, features mirrored puddles and paper clouds, symbolising Burberry's history of providing clothing to protect against the elements.

Dover Street Market creator Rei Kawakubo will re-imagine a few of the waterproof coats, which will be made available for sale in the coming year.

The installation will be the first time that Burberry collections have made their way into Dover Street Market.
