Breitling wraps the holidays in 18k red gold with an exclusive new capsule collection
By SENATUS Magazine | 29 November 2025

The holiday season demands a certain level of opulence and Breitling has answered the call with a release that feels like a warm embrace amidst the winter chill. Just in time for the festivities, the Swiss watchmaker is releasing a gold capsule collection that reimagines five of its quintessential models in stunning 18k red gold. This is not merely about precious metal but about a curated aesthetic where dial colors and movements meet in combinations that have never been seen before to ensure every piece remains exclusive.

The choice of red gold is a masterstroke of subdued luxury. Unlike the brashness of yellow gold, this specific hue brings a sophisticated warmth that transitions effortlessly from formal soirées to casual winter gatherings. Breitling CEO Georges Kern notes that the intricate solid red-gold cases offer a tangible sense of luxury that contrasting polished and brushed surfaces only serve to heighten. This tailored approach appeals to connoisseurs who understand that full-gold watches make an unmistakable statement of elevated elegance.

The collection anchors itself with the Navitimer which is an undeniable icon of aviation history that has journeyed from the wrist of astronaut Scott Carpenter to the stage with Miles Davis. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 captures the spirit of the original 1950s size but elevates it with a rich brown dial and white subdials that sit in perfect harmony with the case-matching red-gold hands and indexes. For those seeking a sleeker profile the Navitimer Automatic 36 arrives with a verdant green dial that creates a striking single-color statement. The smallest of the trio is the Navitimer 32 which features an all-brown dial accentuated by elegant diamond hour markers and a slim profile of just 8 mm.

On the other side of the spectrum lies the Premier which has long been the heritage-inspired answer to impeccable taste since the golden era of watch design in the 1940s. The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 is a vision in navy blue where the dial contrasts beautifully against red-gold hands and indexes while housing the manufacture caliber visible through the open caseback. Completing the set is the Premier B09 Chronograph 40 which features a dark green dial and a slimmer case silhouette thanks to its manually wound caliber.

These five references are produced in highly limited quantities and will not be reproduced in these specific configurations. Perfectly timed for the season of gifting these watches will be available starting early December to offer a timeless statement of style for those looking to enter the brand with impact.
