In honor of the iconic fragrance by the house of Guerlain launched in 1925, Shalimar, a brand new ad campaign entitled "La Legende de Shalimar" directed by Bruno Aveillana has been unveiled, with costumes by newly-minted couturier Yin Yiqing. The short film presents the beautiful landscapes of India and shows the gorgeous Mumtaz played by Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova living in an imprisoned paradise.

Filmed in India, the short film tells of a 17th century love story between the legendary Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. In order to protect his love from the chaos of the world, the Shah sends his wife to live in a palace surrounded by the beautiful gardens known as the Shalimar.
