Paul Smith has announced the opening of it's fourth store in Singapore, which will become the country’s flagship.

Located in the bustling Mandarin Gallery on Orchard Road, Paul Smith's new flagship store will offer a range of men’s and women’s shoes and accessories, men’s and women’s Mainline Paul Smith collections, and Paul Smith London, PS, Jeans and Black Label collections.

The design of the shop combines modern and antique style to create a charming, colourful interior. Antique furniture and fittings, limestone flooring and bronze features contribute to the elegant ambiance. 

The front area of the shop displays men’s Mainline and London collections in a walnut panelled room with antique limestone floor and black steel features. At the centre of the room is a modern ‘Sputnik’ chandelier and a carved antique Henry II table forms a focal feature. 

The second room displays PS and Jeans collections and is accessed via a deep blue painted archway. This area has a more youthful ambiance with compression fittings around the perimeter and a Russian Constructivist-inspired mural running around the room and onto the ceiling. Two Italian tables are a central feature, one with a two-tone glass top and the other with a marble top. 

Two black and brass antique accessory cabinets lead into the shoe and accessory area.  On the left hand side, a large walnut shelving system displays shoes. In front of this is a chrome and brass table and stools upholstered in the Paul Smith ‘Point’ fabric. A picture wall above the shoe shelving features a checkered grid of Paul’s iconic photos of the sky. On the right hand side of this area is a large black steel cash and wrap area with walnut display. 

Paul Smith women’s collections are displayed at the back of the shop. The décor is off-white with light oak chevron patterned flooring, and two beaded ‘pagoda’ chandeliers fill the room with light. Clothes are displayed on brass rails in niches. Two brass ‘ribbon’ tables with glass tops display clothing.

The impressive external façade is around 80sqm and faces Orchard Road. The second façade is visible on entering the Mandarin Gallery mall and has a large slot window displaying accessories and a mannequin window display. The third façade has a large window display for male and female mannequins and accessories.
