From 18 to 30 September, coinciding with the 2013 Singapore Formula One Grand Prix Race weekend, The Hour Glass presents a pop-up showcase entitled 'Super Machines and Horological Heroes', set to offer a unique cultural experience to visitors during the showcase at the Main Atrium of Paragon shopping centre.

The retail exhibit will stage some of the most iconic and avant-garde timepieces from De Bethune, H Moser & Cie, Hublot, MB&F, Parmigiani Fleurier, Romain Jerome, Ulysse Nardin and Urwerk.

In the world of horology, these trailblazing brands are indeed 'superheroes' who have managed to harness the dexterity and technological advancement in artistic watchmaking, to give rise to these spectacular ‘super machines’.

This is indeed an homage to the individuals who have revolutionized watchmaking and watch design in these interesting times.

The Hour Glass under the stewardship of Michael Tay, has quickly built a reputation as a pioneering stalwart in the promotion and development of contemporary horological culture around the world.

The 'Super Machines and Horological Heroes' showcase is another manifestation of this mission.

The 13-day platform will include:

  • Launch of 21 Novelties of which 7 are exclusives for The Hour Glass
  • 4 Live Technical Artistry Showcases
