FENDI has opened the doors to its new flagship boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, centrally located at the main rotunda of the premier luxury shopping destination in Singapore.
The two-storey store extends over 641 square metres, offering women's ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods to add to the men's and kids' categories available at the venue since August 2020. All these come under the modern FENDI One concept that reflects the house's identity together with the sophistication of the city of Singapore.
The façade, bright and transparent with champagne metal frames has been conceived ad hoc for Marina Bay Sands and is a contemporary reinterpretation of a fountain revealing from outside the charme of the inside. It is characterized by modules in printed glass and details in metal champagne inspired by the Astuccio design. The texture of the glasses features a water effect, and a led system simulates the movement of a cascade that activates when the cascade in the atrium of Marina Bay Sands, that faces the store, activates.
The top-level is dedicated to women's and bags, ready-to-wear, accessories, and shoes elegantly displayed on champagne displays with tubular structures and niche in Arabescato Vagli marble and silver metal. The level is designed with lush tones of ivory and grey that evoke a sense of classy femininity and understated luxury.
Walking down the staircase leads one to the men's section that exudes warmth and masculinity with the latest Bags, Ready-to-Wear, Accessories and Shoes stylishly displayed on the shelves in dark green lacquered and cork. The adjacent kids and mini me section radiates a playful spirit that allows the little ones to immerse themselves in the FENDI universe. The iconic Italian Arabescato Vagli marble flooring recalls the architecture of Roman churches and creates a sense of space and opulence to the shopping experience. The furniture in the boutique is a selection of bespoke pieces and design pieces, and the concept of whispered luxury is expressed in the fitting rooms using metal and silk finishes.
True to the spirit of the Maison, in constant balance between tradition and innovation, the Marina Bay Sands boutique represents a harmonious dialogue between the Maison's Roman heritage, the modernity of design, with a touch of Italian luxury to contemporary Singapore.
10 February 2022 - FENDI lights up the night sky celebrating the new flagship boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Against the sparkling city lights and the Singapore River, the beautiful light-up illuminated the city centre with the picturesque Roman yellow inspired by the Roman sunsets of the Eternal City.
