Breitling partners with Victoria Beckham to create limited series of Chronomat 36 - revives yellow gold specially for this collection

True to its "Modern Retro" mantra, adopted when Georges Kern took the helm of Breitling in 2017, the Swiss Manufacture kicks off 2024 gloriously, upping its fashion and style quotient with a one-off collaboration with Victoria Beckham.

Victoria Beckham first launched her eponymous label in 2008 and over the last 16 years have become a mainstay in the fashion weeks, building a core following that has been enamoured by her signature style. The British brand is coveted for its modern woman’s wardrobe: versatile and wearable, yet rooted in modernity with a sophisticated ease. Boasting subtle contemporary flair, Victoria Beckham's key offerings include immaculately cut tailoring, dresses, denim, and separates, with signature touches in the form of off-kilter prints, modern cuts, and color palettes.

The creative director now lends her eye for design to the limited edition Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham collection, with only 1,500 pieces to be made available worldwide.

“The Chronomat is already a versatile watch with a classic form,” adds Kern on the partnership.

With Victoria Beckham’s signature style, this collection is a modern, radiant expression of that timepiece."

The Victoria Beckham collection retains classic Chronomat features like the metal rouleaux bracelet and raised rider tabs at the 15-minute mark. These are combined with refined new colourways inspired by the fashion brand's Spring/Summer 2024 palette, including peppermint, midnight blue, dove gray, and sand.

The timepieces feature the Breitling logo on the dial and Victoria Beckham’s initials on the seconds hand, the latter making it distinct from any Chronomat that has been made.

It comes in stainless steel, and yellow gold which has been specially revived by Breitling for use on this line - it is the first product since 2017 to see the use of 3N yellow gold.

The iconic rouleaux bracelet of the Chronomat also boasts the engraving of the VB logo and brand name, for an additional stylistic touch.

On the three stainless steel pieces, the dials show “One of 400” whilst the three gold pieces will feature “One of 100”. The closed casebacks also features a circular engraving, reinforcing the Victoria Beckham collaboration.

Powered by the Breitling Caliber 10, the Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham is a self-winding automatic three-hand movement with date feature, with approximately 42 hours power reserve.

Like all Breitling watches, each piece has achieved Contrôle officiel suisse des chronomètres (COSC) certification, a distinguished independent validation of its precision and performance.

This limited-edition Chronomat comes in a specially designed co-branded box and the gold pieces are accompanied by a co-branded travel pouch.

The Breitling Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham is a collection for women who embrace authenticity and unapologetic confidence—traits that never go out of style.
