Atelier Swarovski by AdR Collection - A Philanthropic Collaboration

22 February 2018

By Tricia Oliviera

Swarovski is collaborating with Anna dello Russo in support of the latter's philanthropy project entitled 'AdR Beyond Fashion.'

February 24 will see the a special auction of Anna dello Russo's treasured fashion archive pieces held in Milan to coincide with the launch of the AdR book, with all the revenues from the auction will be devolved to the Swarovski Foundation Scholarship Program - the Swarovski organization devoted to sustaining young fashion talents of the future.

In addition, Swarovski is also launching a capsule collection named Atelier Swarovski by Anna dello Russo, with two sets of ten pieces of jewellery.

The sets, available in Siam and Crystal, or in Golden Shadow and Crystal, include respectively one pair of drop earrings, a tiara and a statement necklace. A striking royal ribbon sash and four baroque crystal broaches complete the picture. More than 1,800 crystals have been integrated in this collection.

Finally, a one-of-a-kind piece has been created especially for the auction. Working with feathers and 500 Swarovski crystals, designer Gareth Pugh devised a striking headpiece that fully captures AdR's daring sense of elegance and Swarovski's ultimate zest of sparkle.
