Mini JCW Paceman เริ่มต้นด้วยการปรับกายภายนอกให้โดนใจมากขึ้นมาพร้อมล้ออัลลอบขอบ 18 นิ้ว จัดมาให้เฉพาะรุ่นเสร็จสรรพ รวมถึง อพชั่นที่มาพร้อมล้ออัลลอยขอบ 19 นิ้ว ที่จัดมาให้อย่างงดงามลงตัวมากยิ่งขึ้น ให้ลวดลายที่มากับสีสันที่ลงตัวเฉพาะรุ่น

ในห้องโดยสาร Mini JCW Paceman นำเสนอ ที่นั่งที่ปรับแยกออกจากกัน 4 ที่นั่ง หน้าปัด ปรับให้มีความลงตัวมากยิ่งขึ้น ด้วยความเร็วสูงสุดที่ชี้ยัน 260 ก.ม./ช.ม. และที่สำคัญภายในตบแต่งด้วยหนังสีดำ โทนพิเศษ Carbon Black เล่นลวดลายด้วยด้ายแดง ที่แปลกแตกต่างไม่เหมือนใคร

การเปลี่ยนแปลงหลักใน Mini JCW Paceman นั้น อยู่ที่การเค้นสมรรนะของเครื่องยนต์1.6 ลิตร เพิ่มมากยิ่งขึ้นจากเดิม ด้วยระบบเทอร์โบชาร์จให้การตอบสนองที่ดีขึ้น และยังมีการปรับในส่วนของระบบหล่อเย็น ช่วยให้สมรรถนะเต็มที่และมั่นใจได้มากยิ่งขึ้น โดยสามารถเค้นกำลังสูงสุด 218 แรงม้า ได้ที่ 6000 รอบต่อนาที และรีดแรงบิดสูงสุด 280 นิวตันเมตร ตั้งแต่ 1500 - 5000 รอบต่อนาที รวมถึงยังมีฟังชั่น Overboost ที่สามรเพิ่มแรงบิดสูงสุดเป็น 3000 นิวตันเมตร ตอบสนองเป็นช่วงสั้นตั้งแต่ 2100 - 4500 รอบต่อนาที ทั้งหมดส่งกำลังลงเกียร์อัตโนมัติ 6 สปีด และ ถ้าอยากมันก็มีเกียร์ธรรมดา 6 สปีด ให้เลือกด้วย

Mini JCW PaceMan น่าจะใกล้ได้ฤกษ์วางจำหน่ายในเร็วๆ นี้ แต่จนถึงขณะนี้ยังไม่มีการเปิดเผยราคาค่าตัวที่จะวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการในตลาดต่างประเทศ

The new John Cooper Works version of the new Mini Paceman will be make its world debut in January 2013 at the Detroit Auto Show, but, as expected, Mini couldn’t keep it a secret until then. The first images have surfaced online and reveal the first details on the upcoming Paceman John Cooper Works.

The JCW version will feature a more aggressive design language, with black exterior paint combined with red stripes, roof and exterior mirrors. Mini will also add in an updated aerodynamic kit and a set of larger alloy wheels. Under the hood, we expect the Paceman JCW to borrow its powerplant from the Countryman JCW, meaning it’ll feature a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with an output of 215 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque.

In the Countryman, this engine sprints it to 60 mph in just 7 seconds and up to a top speed of 140 mph. You can expect pretty much the same results from the Paceman.
