Anna Piaggi: (1931 – 7th August 2012)
By SENATUS News | 7 August 2012

Revered Italian fashion writer and style icon Anna Piaggi has passed away. Known for her eccentric, whimsical and often nonchalant approach to her style and makeup, Anna Piaggi has never once appeared in public wearing the same outfit twice and is widely known to be an avid hat collector.

A muse of famous British milliner Stephen Jones, She has amassed a clothing collection of 2865 dresses and 265 pairs of shoes at one point in time and admires British designer Vivienne Westwood for her hat designs which are made by Prudence Millinery.
