Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona - an unparalleled status among sport chronographs
By SENATUS Editor | 22 January 2024

The restyled Cosmograph Daytona from Rolex presents even greater visual harmony and a more modern demeanour. The dial graphics have new balance. Graceful lines of light are elegantly reflected from the lugs and the sides of its redesigned middle case.

Inside, its calibre 4131 unveiled in 2023, features a cut-out oscillating weight and completely new finishes. It incorporates a chronograph function with a reduced number of components, further enhancing the movement’s reliability. It is engaged by a robust mechanism with a column wheel and vertical clutch, allowing an instantaneous and precise start. Calibre 4131 features the Chronergy escapement, combining high efficiency with great dependability. Its power reserve extends to about 72 hours.

Through its name and functions, the Cosmograph Daytona is forever linked to the world of motor sport and, 60 years after its launch, continues to boast unparalleled status among sport chronographs.
