Prada Linea Rossa Spring 2021 Ad Campaign
By SENATUS Magazine | 19 April 2021

For Spring/Summer 2021, the Prada Linea Rossa campaign reinvents the brand’s iconic ‘red line’ as the demarcations of spaces designated for sport, universal markers recognised in communities around the world. Skate parks across the diverse terrains of Los Angeles (USA) and Shanghai (China) are united through these delineations - marking out new territories and spaces for activity, for unity within communities.

Photographed by the visual artist Martine Syms, the talents chosen to front the campaign Austin Augie, Briana King, Cai Xu Kun, Le’Andre Sanders and Rachelle Vinberg, epitomize excellence: each with a tie, directly, to the sport of skating or BMX riding, and to the urban topographies that feature in the Linea Rossa campaign.

The collection is lightweight, with body-hugging silhouettes that emphasize the movement. Technical fabric innovation is fundamental. Polyester knit delineates the body, a basis for fluid layers of techno-knit and nylon: the thin, lightweight, waterproof and semi-translucent ripstop fabric.
