MB&F HM7 Aquapod is a Kinetic Jellyfish on the Wrist #SIHH2017
By SENATUS Watches & Jewelry | 17 January 2017

Two sapphire crystal domes sandwiching a metal caseband in 18K red gold or grade 5 titanium, make up the pod-shaped case of MB&F's newest horological unveil, the Horological Machine No.7.

The profile of the timepiece is reminiscent of the domed, organic shape of a jellyfish pulsating in the ocean.

And just like the jellyfish which inspired it, HM7 Aquapod's sapphire crystal skin is transparent and contains a unique, radially symmetric movement: stacked vertically from bottom to top, a tentacle-like winding rotor, the 72-hour mainspring barrel, dual revolving hour and minute rings, and a 60-second flying tourbillon.

A true biomorphic marvel to behold, the Aquapod features a unidirectional rotating bezel, which "floats" outside the case, and has a water resistance of up to 50 meters.

The launch editions of HM7 is limited to 33 pieces in titanium, 66 pieces in red gold.
