It was a burst of lilac at Armani Privé's presentation for the Spring/Summer 2016 season at Haute Couture Week.

There were flowing gowns from purple pastels to black, with the first 47 outfits of a total 59, ranging from shades of mauve, violet to lavender, with a few oyster-shell silvery tones. Slim jackets came with matching shorts, or with cropped wide trousers. Everything shimmered, from embossed silk organza with hazy, watermark lines, checkered jacquard to crystal embroidery.
