Dean and Dan Caten Win First International Canadian Designer of the Year Award

The Toronto-born brothers behind the renowned Milan-based label DSquared2 were recognized with an award for outstanding achievement at the inaugural gala, which was held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Saturday. The Catens also received the CAFA for international Canadian designer of the year, which honoured a recipient that has achieved success abroad and brought attention to Canadian talent on the world stage.

Billed as the first event of its kind in Canada, the CAFAs featured 10 award categories recognizing homegrown talent within the fashion industry.
