Marina Bay Sands unveiled another marquee name to its buildup towards its the Sands for Singapore Festival with the invitation of David Beckham to Singapore, and for a private reception at the resort. On Sunday 7 July, Beckham met with 60 local children between the ages of 8 and 17 from The Guardian Academy and students from Singapore Association for the Deaf’s affiliated schools, who were given an opportunity to meet and be inspired by the football legend.
