"You Should be Dancing" by Longchamp

21 February 2013

Longchamp has unveiled its Spring 2013 ad campaign, putting the focus on two Canadian top models Coco Rocha and Liisa Winkler — the face of the brand for three seasons — as they dance to the Bee Gees’ song "You Should Be Dancing."

Coco Rocha is once again the face of the new Longchamp Spring 2013 campaign. "She is the perfect embodiment of the Longchamp woman - a woman who is optimistic, dynamic, cosmopolitan, who loves fashion but is not a fashion victim" says the French luxury label.

The video shows the two women traveling from JFK airport in New York. While being frisked by customs officials, Coco Rocha and Liisa Winkler hear the Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing” and start doing exactly that.

In the press campaign, which was shot by Max Vadukul, the focus is on the brand’s emblematic handbags for spring 2013 (Longchamp 3D, Gatsby Sport and LM Cuir) as well on its shoe and pret-à-porter collections. The Longchamp Spring 2013 ad campaign was shot in the former Terminal for TWA flights of JFK airport in New York, designed by architect Eero Saarinen.
