Conceived as an annual showcase of the Maison’s most evocative designs, the Privé series offers collectors limited-edition reinterpretations that balance heritage with contemporary artistry. The Tank à Guichets, first introduced in 1928, stood apart for its bold departure from traditional watchmaking—displaying time through apertures rather than hands.

The 2025 release stays true to this architectural clarity, maintaining hour and minute windows at 12 and 6 o’clock, as well as the crown positioned at 12. Beneath the minimalist façade lies the new hand-wound Calibre 9755 MC, equipped with jumping hours and dragging minutes, emphasizing precision and mechanical charm.

By reviving this rare, streamlined silhouette, Cartier underscores its ability to honor horological history while continuing to push aesthetic and technical boundaries, further elevating the desirability of the Privé line.
