Rado presents the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Limited Edition

21 February 2023

The Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Limited Edition is not only the first Rado watch with the brand new R808 calibre, but also the first Captain Cook model with high-tech ceramic inserts with anti-fingerprint structure.

In addition, for the first time, the entire bezel and crown are crafted in high-tech ceramic. The three-hand movement exceeds standard accuracy test requirements from 3 to 5 positions, thanks to its antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring.

This iconic 43 mm watch is water resistant down to 300 m and offers 80 hours of power reserve. Next to the matt-black high-tech ceramic case and its smoke-tinted sapphire crystal, the design shows that uncompromising character so much in keeping with the well-known, recognisable Captain Cook tradition.

Beautifully rounding out the design is a matt-black bracelet in high-tech ceramic, with a titanium triple-fold clasp equipped with ceramic push-buttons.

The watch is limited to 1962 pieces with consecutive numbers.
