LOEWE Continues Knot On My Planet Initiative to Promote Elephant Conservation

1 November 2019

By Tricia Oliviera

LOEWE is proud to share that the fashion house is continuing its collaboration with Knot On My Planet, a charitable movement that promotes elephant conservation, by producing a series of limited edition bags designed by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson.

In continuation of last year's efforts, the Elephant mini bags are hand-beaded by the Samburu women of Northern Kenya. The Samburu Workshop artisan collective works hard to preserve their traditional culture of beading and this collaboration will also help to fund their ongoing efforts to support the community.

The Elephant mini bag is launched in partnership with Canadian retailer Holt Renfrew, and sold in collaboration with the Knot On My Planet campaign to support the Elephant Crisis Fund, a joint initiative between Save The Elephants and the Wildlife Conservation Network, in partnership with the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

100 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Elephant Crisis Fund.
