The judge and creator of the popular America's Next Top Model series, Ms. Tyra banks is launching a television programme based on her life. The scripted comedy show will track her experiences from an insecure teenager to becoming one of the most successful supermodel in the world.

Set to be broadcasted on America's ABC channel, it will be named "Fivehead" (the American slang term for people with a more pronounced forehead), which Ms. Banks was said to called by the bullies in her school.

Banks is teaming up with her childhood friend and television producer Kenya Barris, who also helped to co-create the America's Next Top Model series. The pair will develop the characters with Ms. Barris being the writer and the producer for the series.

The airing date for "Fivehead" has yet to be confirmed.
