'Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda' by Paolo Roversi
By Men's Journal Online | 3 September 2012

Paolo Roversi shot the Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda debut collection in a haunting story set in Taormina. In keeping with the idea of revisiting crafts and styles from the past, Paolo Roversi creates a haunted house feel in a beautiful shoot. Somewhat ghostly figures inhabit the basements of an ancient abode, and their lives and histories are translated in the dresses. Drawing from the Sicilian tradition, the widow, all dressed in black, and looking very regal, is poised in her seat.
