Since its creation in 2015, the Slim d’Hermès has lent its sleek lines to the house's most refined crafts. In this latest iteration, the dial becomes a vibrant canvas for a seahorse designed by London based illustrator Stuart Patience. This mythical creature from the depths of the sea is brought to life through a meticulous combination of engraving and leather marquetry.

The artistic process begins with an engraver who carefully traces the profile and contours of the animal. To create the colorful mosaic of the seahorse, artisans utilize specialized marquetry involving leather fragments trimmed to a mere 0.5 mm in thickness. Each piece is meticulously cut and assembled one by one until the creature emerges from the dial. This intricate work is housed in a 39.5 mm diameter white gold case.

Beating at the heart of the timepiece is the Manufacture Hermès H1950 mechanical self-winding movement. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the exquisite finishes and H-shaped decorations that adorn the hand-beveled bridges. To complete the look, the watch is paired with a Swift calfskin strap in either béton or perle shades. Available in two distinct color versions, this numbered series is strictly limited to 24 pieces each
