The gérald genta Gentissima Oursin - inspired by the sea urchin
By SENATUS Editor | 17 July 2024

An iconic design melds with bold contrasts in the new Gentissima Oursin by gérald genta.

Available in three variations, the 2024 revived edition is sized at 36.5mm, flanked by a convex titanium case studded with 223 beads in a radially expanding series of halos. Each of the beads is individually threaded and screwed down, and comes in a contrasting material to the underlying titanium — white gold, rose gold and diamonds or yellow gold.

In the first iteration, yellow-gold spikes surround a matte black diamond-like carbon titanium case. Also available is a second version with its guilloché pink mother-of-pearl dial and radiant rose gold beads set with diamonds. And finally a third, the anthracite version exuding elegance with its guilloché dial and delicate white-gold beads.
