Tiffany & Co. has crafted the World Baseball Classic Championship Trophy since 2005.
Brought to life at Tiffany’s hollowware workshop over the course of 4.5 months, the trophy is handcrafted from sterling silver with 24k gold accents, stands 24 inches tall and weighs more than 25 pounds.
MLB player and 2021 American League Most Valuable Player Shohei Ohtani delivered a comeback 3-2 victory for Japan over the United States on 21 March as the Asian powerhouses won the World Baseball Classic (WBC) for a record third time.
