Jewel Changi Airport Opens to the Public
By SENATUS Magazine | 11 April 2019

Jewel Changi Airport or Jewel in short, is set to be a game changer for Singapore tourism. Open to public previews starting today, the 135,700 sqm complex at the heart of Changi Airport will house over 280 retail and F&B outlets, one-of-a-kind play attractions, a hotel and aviation facilities within one of Singapore’s largest indoor gardens.

The crown jewel of Singapore's world renowned airport broke ground back in December 2014, and has created significant buzz, one of which is excitement around a spectacular indoor waterfall. It is the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 40 metres high, and come nightfall, the sheet of water becomes a screen on which a light-and-sound show is projected.

Jewel will officially be open to Singapore residents and international travellers starting 17 April 2019.
