Jennifer Lawrence for Dior Fall 2018
By SENATUS Magazine | 23 May 2018

In a reprisal of her role as muse and face for Christian Dior, Jennifer Lawrence fronts the French luxury label's Fall 2018 campaign shot by photographer Brigitte Lacombe. The Academy Award-winning actress showcases the collection designed by Maria Grazia Chuiri, which express two different attitudes: one, somewhat austere, with collars reminiscent of the shirts worn by Surrealist artist Claude Cahun whose work inspired Chiuri, and the other, more sensual, in its play of lengths and transparencies.

Made from typically masculine fabrics, the same by Christian Dior himself back it in the day, the designs as well as the allures they convey, symbolise the masculine-feminine duality that exists within the 21st century individuality of today.

Pieces on show included statement denim to elegant blouses. A standout piece from the coveted range is the Parisian label’s latest embroidered tote, which has quickly become a favorite for celebrities and fashion lovers all over the world.
