Bruno Mars Wows Audience in 1st Ever Concert in Singapore
By SENATUS News | 27 March 2014

On his first ever trip to Singapore, Bruno Mars proved why he's the consummate entertainer of our generation having performed the half-time show at Superbowl earlier this year, playing before a packed audience at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last night. With a minimal set that focused the attention on his singing, the Hawaiian-born Grammy Award-winning superstar, who has sold more than eight million albums and 58 million singles worldwide, and his funky band, launching straight into Moonshine and Natalie to kick off the concert.

The American singer was charming, breaking out into his megawatt smile as he addressed the Singapore audience, and was reminiscent of a young Michael Jackson with smooth moves, mixed in with soul-reggae, funk-soul style as he churned out hits like Treasure, The Lazy Song, Nothing' On You, and what he admits is his most emotionally difficult song to perform, When I was Your Man. The encore saw everyone treated to a solo drum set by Bruno Mars before he broke out into Locked Out of Heaven, topping it off with a rain of gold glitter.

In short, the Moonshine Jungle Tour by Bruno Mars was a concert not to be missed, and we can only hope the performer returns to our shores to offer us more in future.
