Seen @ Giorgio Armani One Night Only NYC
By SENATUS Editor | 26 October 2013

Italian designer Giorgio Armani brought his traveling exhibit of his couture designs, including the Prive Nude collection, to Manhattan, having made stops in Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Rome. Attending the gala opening were celebrities including director Martin Scorsese, Leonardo diCaprio, Olivia Munn, and more.

On the occasion of the event One Night Only in New York, the city’s mayor, Michael Bloomberg, officially proclaimed Giorgio Armani Day on October 24th. The designation was made for the designer’s longstanding relationship with the city of New York, for supporting the fund for public schools and contributing to the economy of the city of New York alongside the great influence made by Giorgio Armani on the international fashion industry.

“It’s such a special day for me. It is a great honor to receive this recognition, which reaffirms a strong personal and professional bond with New York, a city that has given me and continues giving me so much,” said Giorgio Armani.

The exhibition is open to the public Oct. 25-27, at the SuperPier along the West Side Highway. See photos of the exhibition setup at http://senatus.net/album/view/8181/
