Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston were joined by director Alan Taylor and their co-stars for the world premiere Thor: The Dark World. Hemsworth reprise his role as the Norse god superhero in the sequel to the 2011 hit Thor. This movie marks his third outing as the character – he also played him in 2012's The Avengers.

Although Portman, resumes her role as Thor's love interest, Jane Foster, and Hemsworth play the good guys, the cast member who received the loudest screams from fans was Hiddleston, who returns as Loki, Thor's evil stepbrother.

"I love playing him because he is such a complicated mixture of charm, elegance, palyfullness and anger and bitterness. It's a cocktail of really interesting stuff," said Hiddleston.

He may have been the bad guy in the first "Thor" movie and "The Avengers," but this time Loki actually helps his brother take on an even more evil enemy, Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston.
