CHANEL "The Little Black Jacket" Book and Photography Exhibition Heads to Singapore

Opening on 9 November at the ArtScience Museum located at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the book and photography exhibition which is a joint collaboration between CHANEL Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld and former French Vogue editor and stylist extraordinaire Carine Roitfeld, will take place until 1 January 2014.

Models, actors, singers, rappers, fashion editors, designers all can be seen in the book wearing the Chanel black jacket. Photographed in black and white portrait format by Karl Lagerfeld himself (who also photographs the ad campaigns for Chanel) and styled by Carine Roitfeld (who is also the cover star of the book wearing the Chanel black jacket with matching skirt), the tome celebrates the versatility of a classic garment which was originally designed for women, is now worn by men as well. Running simultaneously with the exhibitions, window displays in CHANEL's boutiques at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands will present a selection of jackets from the latest collections.

Readers will recall that earlier in May, CHANEL held its very first global fashion show in Singapore, showcasing its Cruise 2013/2014 collection. (Read more)
