Louis Vuitton’s traveling SEE LV exhibition makes its fifth stop in Sydney opening 4 November at First Fleet Park in The Rocks in Sydney.
Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the illustrious Louis Vuitton world through a combination of objects from the Maison’s heritage archive, recent creations, and interactive digital experiences.
A young Louis Vuitton, created by Turkish digital artist Rekik Anadol using artificial intelligence, appears upon entry into the showcase. He will appear through a melange of one million images illustrating the Jura area, where he was born 200 years ago in 1821.
Five universes of Louis Vuitton then open up - each dedicated to different facets of the brand. The first section features a reverse-chronological selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear pieces. With looks created by the likes of Virgil Abloh, Nicolas Ghesquière, Kim Jones in collaboration with Supreme and Marc Jacobs.
There is also an entire section dedicated to the bags of Louis Vuitton, with a chronicle of how these iconic silhouettes have evolved through time.
