Inspired by the time when machines were designed to look fast, when wind tunnels weren't invented yet to test aerodynamic efficiency, MB&F's Horological Machine No. 9 is a whimsical and artistic derivation of automotive and aviation mid-century design.
With its curvilinear silhouette, the Air edition features a dial reminiscent of dashboard of airplanes back in the day, with twin balance wheels beating independently in each "fuselage", while its central body contains a planetary differential that averages the output of both balances to provide one stable reading of the time.
